A familiar scent. A new beginning.

Lavender Calm’s story begins with me—with my love of lavender, and what it meant to welcome that familiar scent back into my life.

After struggling with skin issues, choosing something as simple as soap had become complicated. I missed being able to enjoy a lovely scent without wondering how my skin would respond. JoJo’s Calm Harbor grew from that need: an unscented, conditioning bar made with thoughtful care for my sensitive skin. It was my starting place, and it remains a choice for those who prefer to leave scent out altogether.

But I hoped there might also be room for a little of something I loved.

Lavender Calm grew from that hope. I wanted the same care behind Calm Harbor, with a soft lavender scent and a little beauty woven in. Lavender essential oil gave me a way to enjoy scented soap again—something I had once taken for granted, but now appreciated in a whole new way.

To me, lavender carries a sense of quiet and comfort. Its familiar scent makes a shower feel like a small pause—a moment to let the day settle and enjoy something made with care. The soft colors bring that feeling into the bar itself.

This soap became a small new beginning for me. After so much time thinking about what I needed to avoid, it felt good to rediscover something I could enjoy.

Lavender Calm continues to be one of my favorites, and one I reach for often in my own shower. My hope is that it brings a little of that same pleasure to your day: thoughtful care, a touch of beauty, and a quiet moment that belongs to you.
